the faculty of nursing was established in 1986, and in 2003 the college of nursing starts to enroll integrated Chinese-western medical postgraduates. Nowadays the college has been authorized for conferring master’s degree. the faculty of nursing is also the Jiangsu provincial basic theory teaching pilot center and leading discipline of the university. After 20 years development, there has formed a perfect teaching system , teaching outline and teaching program. The college is composed of departments as follows: dean office, college CPC secretary office, student’s affairs office, basic theory nursing office, clinical nursing office, tcm nursing, humane nursing and nursing lab centers.
the college offers 5 courses for post graduate and undergraduate and junior college students, adult undergraduate and adult junior college students. With a strong teaching team of front-runner and 5 master director majoring in nursing.
The college has undertaken provincial projects and gained a great achievement in teaching and editing textbooks
The college has practice bases available for the graduates 1 year-internship, such as jiangsu provincial tcm hospital, jiangsu provincial hospital, Nanjing gulou hospital, no.1 Nanjin hospital, Nanjing tcm hospital, Jiangsu provincial integrated Chinese-western medicine hospital, Nanjing military general hospital and so on.
