The labor union of Nanjing university of Traditional Chinese Medicine was established on june 29th 1963, with only 192 members. After 40 years of development, currently there are 12 branches with 1100 faculty and staff.
Under the leadership of university CPC and provincial educational labor union, adhering to circulating teaching and research, the university labor union will conduct activities independently and firmly implement the guideline of depending on faculty and staff with whole heart, improve the democratic management system based on the faculty and staff representatives, mobilize and protect the interests of faculty and staff.
Besides, the labor union will take an important role in the plan of building the university into world famous and domestically top universities.
The labor union of Nanjing university of Traditional Chinese Medicine is the office organization of faculty and staff. The first faculty and staff representatives conference was hold on june 29th, 1985, and the other three faculty and staff representatives conference were respectively hold in june 1993, november 1998, december 2000. The university labor union participate positively in the democratic management and democratic supervision, and accelerate soundly the program of opening college affairs to protect the interests of faculty and staff.
