The No.2 Clinical Medical College
 

The no.2 clinical medical college of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine firstly originated from the faculty of acupuncture in 1982, and later from the faculty of acupuncture and moxibustion. Currently, it aims to cultivate special talents for acupuncture and moxibustion, cosmetology of tcm, sports medical health-care, nutrition and dietotherapy, rehabilitation of integration of Chinese-western medicine. The college offers basic theory of acupuncture and moxibustion, clinical acupuncture and moxibustion, massage, experimental acupuncture and moxibustion, medical cosmetology, life cultivation and rehabilitation of tcm teaching rooms and teaching lab centers as well as institute of acupuncture and qigong.

The no.1 clinical medical college is a teaching unit, that integrates teaching and research and clinical practice of tcm integrating teaching research and clinical practice. Presently, there are 53 people of faculty and staff, including 13 professors, 18 associate professors, 12 lecturerers, 31 with senior academic titles, 8 doctor directors, 13 master directors.

The college offers 5 undergraduate special courses, including acupuncture and moxibustion, massage, cosmetology of tcm, sports medical health-care, nutrition and dietotherapy, rehabilitation of integration of Chinese-western medicine and other 90 courses for doctoral and master postgraduates and advanced students and those students in other colleges. For years, the college has cultivated a great number of graduates at all levels of acupuncture and moxibustion, massage and life cultivation and rehabilitation of tcm. The college also possesses centers conferring doctoral station and master station, post doctoral mobile working station of acupuncture and moxibustion as well as master station of rehabilitation and physiatrics of tcm.
